John Lofgren - Donkey Puncher 8" - Ezo Shika Deerskin Dark Brown
Description This is the 8" version of John Lofgren's classic Lace-to-Toe Boot, the Donkey Puncher. The burly construction logger-style boot is pair withe rugged yet supple Ezo Shika Deerskin leather. Ezo Shika deers live in the cold Haikkado region of Japan. The rugged environment results in hides that are exceptional robust and filled with natural character. The leather is left uncorrected in its raw state to highlight the unique textures as no two hides are alike. Despite its rugged appearance the leather is extremely supple, resulting in a remarkably pleasant break-in period. Sizing John Lofgren’s 120 last runs large. We recommend 0.5 size smaller than your size as measured on a Brannock device. If you do not know your Brannock size, we recommend 0.5 size smaller than your most common sneaker size, the same size as your Red Wing Iron Ranger size, the same size as your Alden Barrie last size, or half a size bigger than your Viberg 2030 last size. For raw unwashed denim: wear continuously for 3 to 6 months before first wash to set natural crease fades. When washing is necessary, turn inside out, soak in cold water with mild detergent (no bleach), hang dry in shade. Do not machine dry.
